Since 1994, the Alliance Defending Freedom has been fighting to protect American’s rights. The organization works hard to ensure that the freedoms that were enshrined in the constitution are secure for all Americans.

As Christians, we’re committed to making sure that the state protects the original rights that focus on God’s design for the family. These rights include rights that are oriented by the sanctity of life. We’re Christians, but we respect every human. We work with a variety of faiths to safeguard their liberties. So far, we’ve worked with Jews, Muslims, and Yazidis in an effort to protect everyone’s right to worship and to exercise their freedom of speech. In 1998, ADF launched the Center for Faith and Cultural Engagement (CFCE). CFCE works with faith-based organizations, churches, and ministries to defend religious liberty while retaining their integrity and independence as ministries.

The court system is one of our primary focuses. Ever since the constitution was written, people have worked to limit the rights that Americans had fought the British Crown for. We still fight for those same rights, and our legal department has played a vital role in multiple landmark cases.

Because college students are at a vulnerable age where they’re exploring their horizons, we work to ensure that universities are a place that is conducive to free and open discussion. The Alliance Defending Freedom works hand in hand with several great organizations, and we have our own legal division with attorneys on staff. When it comes to the courts, we are proactive. Over the years, we’ve been involved in several cases where free speech on the campus has been put in jeopardy.

Alliance Defending Freedom have more than 15 wins in cases that have reached the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court. And those are cases where we have provided direct representation. Since our inception, we have helped guide our clients and friends to 74 Supreme Court victories.
