Anyone who stayed home from school in the last 25 years knows the work of executive producer and director Randy Douthit, even if they don’t realize it. Douthit is the director behind Judge Judy, America’s favorite granny judge. However, now he is working on creating what some might call a spin-off but is really a new deeper dive into the drama that exists behind many small court cases.

His new show is titled Judy Justice and follows a new judge who has to deal with dog bites and back rent. While court is a serious situation for most people, you wouldn’t know it from watching these people fight. This time Randy Douthit has switched networks, working for IMDb TV which is no doubt glad of the switch. Thus far the show has sparked as many as 25 million views and streaming hours. He’s not the only one who is still hanging around for the new show, a lot of the old crew from Judge Judy are still working on the new series including Judy’s actual granddaughter who is now the law clerk.

You would think this would be enough to keep Randy Douthit busy, but in his free time, he’s not sitting on his patio relaxing. Instead, on most days you can find him out on the racetrack racing others in Ferraris. He is in good company with many other Hollywood stars who state that the thrill of racing around a Formula 1 track is just too enticing to ever walk away from.
