high-speed, fiber-optic
connectivity to the areas that needed it most. What followed was a quiet revolution
in how people across Brazil learned, worked, communicated, and lived.

Under his leadership, Horizons Telecom became more than a service
provider—it became a lifeline. Schools gained the digital tools to teach
effectively. Small businesses expanded their reach. Medical professionals
connected across distances. And entire communities were lifted by the power of
reliable digital infrastructure.

Still, Haroldo’s impact stretches well beyond business. Grounded
in the belief that success comes with responsibility, he established the
Haroldo Jacobovicz Institute—an organization committed to education, youth
development, and social equity. Today, the institute supports 20 institutions
across Curitiba and surrounding regions, focusing on programs that provide
mentorship, learning resources, and safe, nurturing environments for kids and
teens.
