The restaurant chain is known for its vegan food options and serves burritos, macaroni & cheese, pizzas, hamburgers, wraps, and soups. The company was founded in 1987 and named the chain after their daughter Amy. They are based in California and currently sell over 250 products.
In regards to the latest distinction, the president was pleased and believes it is emblematic of the team’s culture and the positive fostering environment. According to the article from News Anyway, they earned the 10th spot out of 100 on the list of best places to work. Amy’s Kitchen is family-owned and has always strived to treat its customers like family. The family is a believer in college and worked to provide for their daughter and make enough income to send her to school. They believe in it so much that they give 1,400 scholarships to the children of their employees for their dedication and work as a part of the company. The brand has been giving out scholarships since the year 2000 and has given out over $1.5 million to date.
