About Robert Kraft

Robert Kraft is a seasoned investor whose reputation in mainstream sports and philanthropy precedes him. He owns Gillette Stadium, International Forest Products, New England Revolution, and Rand- Whitney Containerboard, among other business ventures.

Kraft’s accomplishments transcend entrepreneurship and investment endeavors. Besides being recognized as among the leading owners in professional sports, he has been awarded in other spaces. Kraft is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Columbia Athletic Hall of Fame, Carnegie Hall of Medal Excellence, and Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame. New England Patriots

Kraft is most famous for his ownership of the New England Patriots. He acquired Patriots in 1994 when it was still a lackluster team. He purchased it partly because he was a huge fan, having been a season ticket holder for many years. However, the primary reason was that Kraft was determined to revive the club.

True to his conviction, the team performed remarkably under his leadership, with at least nine wins in 24 out of 28 seasons, 19 division titles, and ten conference crowns between 1994 and 2019. In addition, every game was sold out during his leadership tenure. In 2005, Forbes Magazine named Patriots as the Best Team in Sports.

In the same line of career, Kraft transformed the unimpressive Foxboro Stadium into Gillette Stadium. The majestic stadium has become a popular entertainment and lifestyle center destination.
