People who are still searching for justice in the world may have just hit the jackpot. At least, this is the opinion of Randy Douthit. As it turns out, he has been able to lay his hands on a form of justice. The veteran TV producer is pleased to unveil a new series that stars a beloved judge.

Plenty of so-called experts were ready to count Douthit out for good not too long ago. This was due to the fact that he had not racked up a huge amount of hits for quite some time. They thought for sure that they had finally seen the last of him.

As it turns out, Randy Douthit was simply biding his time. Instead of laying low during the pandemic like many of his peers, he decided to take the alternate route. He produced a series of TV specials that covered the Select Committee hearings.

The subject matter of these hearings was the January 6 attacks in Washington, DC. As such, the project was a risky one. But the faith that Douthit had in his audience was soon repaid. The shows drew a wide audience and racked up excellent ratings.

Being able to post such a resounding victory did wonders for Randy Douthit. He was freshly energized and knew that he needed yet another score to cement his legacy. It was at this point that he turned to an old friend. Retired judge Judy Sheindlin was available and ready to get back to work.

While “Judge Judy” had always been a hit in the past, it had left the air some years earlier. The show had given way to a large number of “reality TV” shows without proposing a clear successor. This left the door wide open for a series that would constitute a sequel.

It was this realization that lit the creative fire under the feet of Randy Douthit. Within a few months of contacting Sheindlin, a new show was born. “Judy Justice” has garnered excellent ratings. It has shored up the current credit of both Douthit and Sheindlin in a major way.
